Our OSHC continues with the Sattler Christian College Christ-centred ethos providing supportive and welcoming environments. The College offers before and after school care for those parents who need flexibility in delivering their children to school or collecting them after school. We also provide a school holiday program.

Sattler Christian College Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)

Sattler Christian College Outside School Hours Care Program is located in the U2 classroom adjacent to the Early Learning Centre. We provide a play and leisure program for children from Transition to Year 6 (12 years old). Our OSHC is a place where your child can grow in wisdom and develop a love of learning through play and leisure.

Before School 7am – 8:15am

On arrival, children are assisted in making their own breakfast from a selection of healthy choices, including cereals, toast and fruit which are provided by the service. Special items may also be available such as muffins and yoghurt. Children are provided with the opportunity to engage in morning activities based on their interests, promoting a positive and relaxed start to their day. Prior to transitioning to their classroom, Educators and children will participate in a devotion and prayer time. Transition children are walked to their classes. Before School Care is charged at $15 per session. A weekly menu will be displayed.

After School 2:40pm – 5:30pm

Our Educators collect children in Transition from their classroom and accompany them to the OSHC area. After putting their belongings away, children can access afternoon tea (provided by the service). The children will participate in co-planning the week’s activities. Our Educators will have a range of engaging activities for children to participate in. The collection of children will be from the OSHC U2 classroom. If your child is not in this space, one of our educators will radio for your child to be sent from another space i.e. basketball court, playground. After School Care is charged at $25 per session. This charge includes a nutritious afternoon tea. Fresh fruit or vegetable will be available every day and a weekly menu will be displayed.

Holiday Care 7:30am – 5:30pm

Our Holiday program will be available 4 weeks prior to each Term Break. Excursions and Incursion usually only occur during our Holiday program. An extra cost of $25 per day is charged to cover bus hire and activity costs. This fee applies to all children attending even if they chose not to participate.

OSHC will provide breakfast and afternoon tea options for all children. Parents/guardians are asked to provide a packed morning tea and lunch each day (unless otherwise specified in the program).
